ひろゆきさんこんばんは！相談です。私は5年間の渡米の経験から地元沖縄で日本人とアメリカ人の文化とコミュニケーションの違いを教える仕事を会社員として米軍人相手にしています！今後は地元でも公演(？)的なものをしたいですが、残念ながらノウハウがゼロです。そこで、そういった情報はどこから得るのかと、これに需要があるのかが気になります。ひろゆきさんはどう思いますか？P.S.米国人の彼と9年付き合い今年結婚しました

いやなんか、あの講演的なものをしたいってなると、そういう話を聞きたいという需要があるかどうかなんですけど、
そのビジネスとしてうまくいってるっていう話でなくて、単にその、あの米国人の彼氏と付き合ったからアメリカ人の男性のこう考え方分かるよね、みたいな話だと思うので、
そうすると多分沖縄の風俗に対しての講習とかそれぐらいの需要になっちゃうと思うので、それで食うのはかなり難しいと思うの。
で、えっとそのコミュニケーションの違いを教える仕事を会社員としてっていうのがちょっと具体的に何かわからないんですけど。
でもしそれがその、あの個人で動画でやれるんであれば、別に公演とかじゃなくて普通に独立して同じような仕事、要は会社員としてやったり、今の仕事を独立して自分の会社でやるっていう方がまだ現実性あるんじゃないかなと思います。

Well, when it comes to wanting to do public speaking, it’s a matter of whether there’s demand for people who want to hear such talks.
It’s not about whether the business is doing well, but rather the idea that since you’ve been dating an American man, you must understand how American men think, right?
So I think the demand would likely be for something like lectures on Okinawan customs or something along those lines, and I believe it would be quite difficult to make a living out of that.
Also, I’m not quite sure what kind of job you’re doing as an employee teaching about communication differences.
But if it’s something you could do independently via videos or something like that, instead of giving public talks, you could just go independent and do the same kind of work.
In other words, it seems more realistic to continue what you’re doing as an employee and then go independent to start your own company.

Does that mean you have zero know-how regarding public speaking?
So I think it would be quicker to earn money by going independent from your current company.
